Ted Kovacev, MD
Dr. Kovacev performs a wide variety of surgeries and operations, mainly focusing on those concerning the abdomen and related organs and structures. He is trained to utilize minimally-invasive surgical techniques, a procedure used to greatly reduce the patients healing time.
Leaving Presbyterian Health System in New Mexico, Dr. Kovacev is returning to his home state of Texas to reestablish his career. In the past, he has provided care as a general surgeon at Fayette Regional Medical Center and Hancock Regional Hospital in Indiana.
Dr. Kovacev graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and received his Doctor of Medicine from Saint Georges University. He completed his residency program at the Methodist Hospital in Houston and trained at multiple hospitals in the Texas Medical Center.
